    GOOD-BYE Mr. Lee Gildart

A fine man has passed away.

My dearest, elder-guy, Mr. Lee Gildart, passed away the other day due to complications suffered from a fall.

His daughter, Rebecca, called me and let me know that her Daddy, had died.

    SO SAD.

Lee had been transported to the hospital to see what injuries he may have sustained.  Beyond  bumps and bruises Lee appeared to be fine, and was being released  from the hospital when his speech became slurred and he became confused. Lee, was readmitted and must have known that something was terminally wrong.

He said, "Good-bye Rebecca" and rebecca responded with, " No, Daddy, It's not Good-Bye, you'll be okay."

    Lee, passed away.

A blood clot had traveled to his lung.

    I will miss Lee.

He was a bright, spirited, loving soul.

Lee let me know that the best part of my visits were when I would tuck him into bed.

I loved this part of the day as well. My maternal, nurturing gifts were used properly.

    (Bless you Lee. {my guy} --

    You added love to life.

    You were love.

    You will be missed.

Thanks for being an inspiration to so many students and for being a fine husband and a fabulous father.)

    Love, Jennifer
